To estimate your car’s value, we first need to identify your vehicle. You don’t need much information – just one of the four details below is enough.
- License plate number: The quickest method. You’ll find it in your vehicle registration document under item 15 (A).
- Permanent registration number: This 9‑digit number is listed in your vehicle registration document under item 18.
- Type approval: You’ll find this number in your vehicle registration document under item 24.
- Make and model: Don’t have your vehicle registration document to hand? No problem. You can also simply select the make, model and key details manually.
A major advantage is that if you use the license plate number, permanent registration number or type approval, most of the technical details and standard equipment will be filled in automatically. That saves you a lot of time!
The value of your vehicle is determined using a combination of market data, prices of comparable models and your car’s individual details. Our algorithm considers factors such as make, model, year of manufacture, mileage and condition to calculate a realistic market value.
